2010 Waiting List Registration

Registration for the 2010 Moody Church Softball League is now closed. However, you may sign up for the league waiting list and if room becomes available, we will notify you.

Moody Softball is a co-ed 12" softball league that plays games from June through August, with playoff games in the last weekend of August. Games, which are played Saturday mornings, are primarily social and secondarily competitive. Regular season games are played at Clarendon Park on the northeast side of Chicago.

As a player, you are entitled to:

• fellowship with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ
• a minimum 10 games
• a minimum 1 playoff game
• a team t-shirt with custom uniform number
• a pre-season party
• a post-season party
• stats tracked on this web site

So how much would you pay for all this? The going rate for 12" softball leagues in Chicago is around $100...and that's with NO team t-shirt, NO parties, and fewer games. But as the Ginsu Knife people like to say, "But wait! There's more!"

The league is one of the best opportunities to meet other people in the church, make connections, and foster unique fellowship.

Now how much would you pay?

For $40, you can have all of this for the entire summer. It's the equivalent of paying for two movie tickets, a bucket of popcorn and pop...that only lasts for two hours. This will be the most amazing $40 you've ever spent. As Keanu Reeves would say, "Whoa."

Scholarships are available upon request for those in financial need.

Players will be assigned to teams. Special requests to play with certain players are welcome but not guaranteed. The only guaranteed requests are spouses and engaged couples.
